The beer stung Tazaf's throat as he drank it. "The mead gettin to ya, lad?" Tazaf shook his head, drinking the last of the beer. "Thank you." He walked out of the bar, heading back to his home. He was stopped by a woman who pushed him against a nearby wall, hands on his shoulders. "Hello, handsome. Would you like me to buy you a drink? And a room?" Tazaf smiled at the young woman and gently pushed her hands off of his shoulders. "Na, but thank you." Her eyes turned dark. In a stern voice she said, "Can I get you a beer and a room?" Tazaf frowned. "No, thank you." The woman slapped him. "I asked if you wanted a room and a beer!" Tazaf gripped the hilt of his sword. "And I said, No." The woman stepped back, startled by the tone in his voice. "Do you know where you are?" Tazaf squinted his eyes at her. "Where am I?" She smiled mockingly. "Not a nice part of town." He scowled and walked away from her, angry. He found where he had tied up Jabay and mounted him, hearing the woman's laughter.

Nerefon had come this way before and many times she just couldn't stay. Nerefon was now going to stay as long as it took or till the king called for her for her services of being an elf assassin.
"Tell me again why we are here? I just don't think we should stay here for any longer then what is necessary. I think we should go up to carvahall instead of here." said the raven.
"We are going to stay and thats that." said nerefon and she noticed a young man and a young girl but the boy didn't look happy, just annoyed.
"Don'y you think about fallowing the young man. You need to keep yourself under total controle and not running off after people." said the raven as Nerefon was starting to fallow the young man.
"Oh be silent for a while." said nerefon.
